The tunnel works through colour and materiality. Rope becomes a membrane, a permeable plane that lets the volumes show through and breathe, held up as a pergola with no intermediate columns to keep that openness intact under fire-safety rules. Blue, ERS’s own colour, carries through the piece, with white details and red accents in line with the logo, while vegetation supplies the organic element that brings it all to life. Where the code requires it, the side walls turn mobile, set on wheels so they can shift position in an emergency without breaking the tunnel’s continuity.
